The Esplanade, Weymouth

Staying at the Esplanade was a mix of wonderful and challenging experiences. The rooms, despite being quite small and located on the noisy front street, offered a beautiful view of the seafront and were equipped with necessary amenities. The service provided by the friendly staff and owner, Rob, was exceptional, making the stay more pleasant. The location, perfect for non-drivers like us, directly opposite the beach and close to the town center, was a huge plus. The dining experience was delightful, with a variety of options including a generous cooked breakfast. However, the traffic noise and the room's positioning at the top of the building required some extra effort. Pricing was fair for the value received.

The hotel's location is fantastic, just opposite the sea and close to all the attractions. The dining experience is wonderful with a great menu. However, the outdated rooms may pose challenges for families with younger children, and the lack of nearby open facilities after hours can be inconvenient.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, directly opposite a nice part of the beach with rooms that are very clean and comfortable offering a view out over Weymouth Bay. The staff were sweet, professional, kind, and accommodating, making the stay enjoyable. However, the property could benefit from some updates to enhance the overall experience.
